Jour 7...Survival games, ferry and lower vieux Quebec
Bonsoir parents,
I cannot believe that we are nearing the end. It has gone by so quickly!! Today, we started the day with an epic survival game in the forest around the Auberge. After our lunch, we headed to lower Quebec for a ferry ride across the Fleuve for a view of the city from the water. This was followed by a tour of lower Quebec and of course our favorite activity; some free time and shopping!! We ended the day with games by the campfire and marshmallows. The students bags are packed and they are tuckered out for the night! I pray for a safe journey tomorrow on our LONG day home.
We will be arriving in Victoria around 11:20pm. If there is a delay, I will connect with Lise Deszaph and she will send out an email at that time to let you know. The kiddies can't wait to see you but are sad to leave our amazing Auberge staff. We have had three very knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic and unbelievably fun animators this week! It has been a blast with them.
I would also like to thank our three parent volunteers, who have given their time, energy, patience and kindness towards the students. They have made this week possible for me and the students. Un GROS MERCI!!
